I created this necklace by highlighting the striking contrast between the color of the aulite and the depth of the black. I chose the rough stones specifically for their irregular shapes and veining: these details add movement to the necklace and make every aspect interesting to look at.

The small onyx beads draw the eye toward the pendant carved from black jade. Together, aulite and black create a striking yet elegant piece of jewelry, capable of adding a unique touch to even the simplest outfit.
