Sicilian Earrings with Sicily Ceramic Halfmoons and Pearls

A new subject in Caltagirone Ceramics enters the Chapeau collection: crescents or fans (depending on the interpretations we want to give them and also on how fast our imagination travels).

The crescents are created and painted by hand, like all other Sicilian ceramic subjects, and their particularity is given by the different design on the front and back. In fact, on the front we have finely hand-painted flowers with Gold leaf details and on the back a lemon slice reproduced in an absolutely realistic way.

If you like to play with the look a bit and give a touch of originality, you can also think about turning the earrings around and showing a different pattern according to the colors you prefer. You can show the same pattern on the front, show the flowers of an earring on one side and the lemon of an earring on the other.

If you don’t have the tools to work costume jewelry, you simply need an eyebrow tweezer, open the hooks , choose the direction of the earrings and you prefer, close the hooks again and you are done.
