Bamboo coral is a white marine plant, which is later dyed red and becomes a perfect imitation of natural coral. It is so called because of its resemblance in nature to bamboo cane. Although it is artificially coloured, the colouring remains intact over time if you keep the necklace away from perfumes or other cosmetic substances.
